Sonnenzimmer Lecture on Their Transdisciplinary Practice

{ Posted under Announcements by Kathleen Beste on February 17, 2012 }

Tonight's artist talk at the Center for Book and Paper Arts features the design collaborative Sonnenzimmer, comprised of artists Nick Butcher and Nadine Nakanishi. They will explain how they incorporate web-based design platforms into their screenprinting practice, and will discuss Fonel.cc (http://fonel.cc/) a cutting edge web application they designed in collaboration with Zurich-based media designer Stefan Huber.
Sonnenzimmer will also be holding a workshop this weekend about a complex issue in today's art world, Image Making in the Age of Apps: Retaining Ownership through Physicality While Embracing New Technologies. Each session is limited to only four attendees, so enrollment is limited. For more information and to register, call 312.369.6630
