Having earned a Bachelor’s degree in Music / Vocal Performance from Western Michigan University and a Master’s degree in Arts, Entertainment and Media Management (Music Business curriculum) from Columbia College Chicago, Amy has an extensive musical background.
Classically trained, she has been a vocalist / musician for 25+ years and has thus developed a well-rounded repertoire, performing various styles from Classical, jazz, blues & bluegrass to folk, rock and pop music. Amy is currently a member of the renowned, professional choral ensemble Chicago Chamber Choir and also performs with her own jazz ensemble, Erie Street, in and around Chicago.
Having been fortunate enough to meld a passion for and background in music into a career in the music business, Amy has been employed by the reputable boutique booking agency The Billions Corporation, based here in Chicago, for the past 10 years. Amy is currently the responsible Agent for: The Apples in Stereo, Gore Gore Girls, The Heavenly States, The Hentchmen, Idlewild, Th' Legendary Shack*Shakers, Miracle Fortress, Nashville Pussy, The Paybacks, Pop Levi, Ross Bon and the Mighty Blue Kings, Scott H. Biram, SSM and Supagroup.

Q: Whoa there. What are Industry Expert sessions again?
A: It's a service provided by the Portfolio Center that pairs students with working professionals in their field. An Industry Expert helps you understand what materials to put in a portfolio (and what to leave out), how to package and present your work, and how you'll know when it's ready for prime time.
