Dear Babbs,

My best friend is dating this guy she met at a party 6 weeks ago. I assumed things were going well until last weekend, when she came home crying. She told me that she and this same guy had been drinking and later on went back to his place where he proceeded to grope and fondle her despite her pleas for him to stop. She blames herself for the incident and has completely shut down to the point of secluding herself in her room all day. It’s not like she got raped, so I guess I’m unsure as to why she’s taking this so hard. I want to help, but I’m not sure what to do. Please help!
