How is diversity represented at Columbia?
As the college continues its journey through the
self-study process, the self-study committee realizes we have an immensely
diverse community here at the college.
Diversity threads itself throughout the college - be it in the ethnic + geographic make-up of our college community, the galleries in the MoCP, the curriculum of the Fiction Writing Department, the music pouring out from the Music Center, the catalog of the Library, performances in the Dance Center...the list seems endless!
Diversity is even specifically mentioned in the college's
mission statement.
We want to know how you perceive diversity at Columbia--
