The Museum of Contemporary Photography (MOCP) presents a variety of national and international exhibitions each year, bringing new works and ideas to the Columbia community. The permanent collection of approximately 8,500 prints is heavily used for an average of 250 class print viewings each year, and the exhibition schedule contains numerous lectures, films, and presentations heavily attended by you, as students. The museum communicates the value and significance of photography in all its forms and uses as expressions of culture and aesthetic creativity. It is a resource and study center for students, educators, curators, researchers, and the general public.
