The Office of Student Organizations & Leadership oversees a wide variety of social, political, cultural, athletic, and curriculum-based undergraduate and
graduate student organizations and club sports (visit the website above). Also, the office advises several college-wide student organizations including the Student Organizations Council (SOC), the Student Government Association (SGA), the Student Alumni Association (SAA), and the Senior Class. The Student Organizations’ Loft, located on the fourth floor of 916 South Wabash Avenue, is the centralized location and meeting space for all student organizations and club sports. Getting involved is easy, just stop by the student organzations’ Loft to get some information or contact the Student Organization Council at soc@colum.edu for information about student orgs or the Renegades office at athletics@colum.edu for more information about club sports. If one of the already existing organizations isn’t perfect for you, start your own. To learn how to start an org, you can contact SOC or anyone on the staff.
