Student Life
The Columbia College Student Experience: Tell us what you think of your new spaces!
It's been a long, long, loooong time coming, but we finally opened up a more social Multicultural Affairs space, and moved the student organizations out of the basement and up to the new Loft.
It's important to get your feedback on these new spaces. Did we get it right? How much time to you spend there? Should we try and build out more spaces? We need to convince others at the College that student-oreinted spaces are important and appreciated. Please take a moment to share you feedback on these two new spaces.
Posted by olivia | March 7, 2009 10:46 PMCan I just say that I would pick this computer lab over any other ones at Columbia because there are always enough computers available. The tables are huge so you can have as many things going on as you want and the seating is comfortable (although, the stools can be kind of annoying after a few hours on the computer). I'll also mention that I'm a huge fan of the retro, mid-century inspired furnishings throughout the new space.

Posted by Jessica Atkins | March 1, 2009 8:52 PMI'm apart of the CCFA, and I think it's nice that we all don't have to be cramped into a little corner of a room that is being shared with a class! Now we get to hold our meetings in a conference room every week. C'est bon!!!
